Because RS Software considers the practice of compounding an integral part of many of our clients’ practices, we continually strive to provide tools for the compounding pharmacist within our dispensing software.

As we aggressively move our software forward we depend heavily on input from these compounding clients to improve and enhance our software for the compounding pharmacist.

Recently we added a feature called Rapid Fill to our dispensing system. This feature will be most valuable to pharmacy compounding for veterinary medicine.

Available in the Management Console, Rapid Fill will allow the pharmacist to generate an unlimited number of prescriptions for the same patient and doctor along with an unlimited number of medications. Each medication can have a default quantity, refills, days supply and directions or can be set on a one by one basis.

Veterinary compounding pharmacists have found this feature invaluable in their practice and it saves literally hours of data entry.
